About Cory and Hometown Master Carpentry
Cory Burns has been a builder his whole life. He loves seeing an idea turn into a completed project, and finds real satisfaction in turning a house into a home that suits a family's needs and lifestyle. Cory treats every project like it's his own.
Based in Athens and serving everywhere from Kingston to Cornwall to Ottawa, Hometown Master Carpentry handles projects of every size - from new construction and additions to custom decks, fences, stairs, and one-off special projects that need a builder's eye for detail.
Cory has been a member of the Brockville Business Network for a year and a half, and has already turned it into a real source of business: multiple client referrals, plus contacts across other industries he can now confidently point his own clients to.

What Clients Say About Hometown Master Carpentry
Real feedback from homeowners across the region
"I cannot praise Cory and his crew enough. Their communication was excellent; they were friendly, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I am absolutely thrilled with my new roof and will definitely have them back with future projects on my house."
Haley Heusser
Spencerville, ON
"Hometown Master Carpentry created a walk in pantry for me from an unused stairwell off of my kitchen. Cory did an exceptional job, worked clean and efficiently and remained calm even as I changed my mind on things throughout the process. I could not be happier with the result and I would highly recommend this company for any of your needs and will definitely use him again for any upcoming work."
